COVID-19 NEWS

COVID-19 NEWS

At Mesun Health Services  we are proactive in maintaining the safety of  our patients and staff.  We have operating protocols which have helped us  maintain a COVID-19 free campus.

We understand the effects isolation may have on those entering medical facilities for care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, we have created visitation policies to protect the safety of patients and staff while providing loved ones an opportunity to visit for emotional support.

For details on the most up to date visitation policy please contact each facility directly:

Health & Rehabilitation Center: Call (404) 369-1907

Hospice & Palliative Care Center: Call (770) 623-2710

FOR PATIENTS: Continuing our commitment to maintaining a COVID-19 free environment, we require a current COVID-19 negative test result prior to admission.

FOR VISITORS: We require temperature checks, masks at all times, completing a current health questionnaire, social distancing, and remaining in the room with the patient you are visiting.

FOR STAFF: The majority of our staff have received the COVID-19 vaccination with plans for others to complete their vaccination.  Additionally, our staff are regularly tested for COVID-19

We are in regular contact with multiple agencies such as the CDC, CMS, and the Georgia Health Department to get up-to-date information regarding COVID-19 in order to adjust to any changes needed.  We follow CDC guidelines for operating during the COVID-19 pandemic and closely monitor case rates in our region.
